The evening was truly here as Shilah's crown had gone passed the horizon for a good while now. Every shop owner in the city knew that they would have to close within a few hours unless they risk their worker's and patron's safety when they go back home in the dark of the night.

Most of the Cat's Tail was already working with a skeleton crew but he would be the last man to leave.

[Aydi al-Qais]

It had been a long day and Aydi was tired; a coffee, even this late, seemed very appealing. He hadn't been here before, he thought, but the lamps were still on, so he entered and looked around.

[Bazir]

Did something happen here? Bazir could sense that something was off but he was not sure having missed part of the evening. Before he could inspect the place further a late visitor appeared

''Welcome to the Cat's Tail sidi, what can we do for you tonight?''

[Aydi al-Qais]

"I'd be grateful for a coffee. Peace to this establishment, Sidi." The man pressed his hand over his heart in greeting.

[Bazir]

''And peace be upon you as well'' he returned the gesture ''How would you like your coffee? Should it be sweetened?''

[Aydi al-Qais]

"Oh no, Sidi, it should be black, but saturated just enough to retain clear texture. Would it be too much to ask?" He was genuinely concerned, given the late hour.

[Bazir]

''There is no worries to be had sidi, it is not the first coffee I brew.'' he said with earned confidence ''Come, make yourself comfortable in one of the alcoves. I shall prepare your drink''

[Aydi al-Qais]

"Shukran." Aydi took a place and relaxed for a moment, closing his eyes to calm his mind.

[Bazir]

It took a moment but Bazir came back with the goods

''Here is your coffee sidi''



''Preparing for a long night or recuperating from a long day...if I may ask?''

[Aydi al-Qais]

"...Yes." He replied, then laughed, accepting the coffee with gratitude. "Sometimes life is like that. I hope your day has been more peaceful, Sidi."
