I pretty much have to take at least one shot past the first, despite knowing it won't remotely kill a Khadi, and hope Orokos doesn't decide to put the retaliatory arrow through a vital organ.

Ok, that sounds dangerous. Another question then - could Faruq stat around to provide medicine checks for others before going on to compete himself? Possibly asking to go last so he can try to provide some help for others or something like that - especially as I haven't seen any others claiming to be medics so far

Since I've had to field some questions/misunderstandings:
Under Her Eye flowchart
You shoot
You choose to continue or not
If you choose to continue she shoots
You shoot
She shoots
You choose to continue or not. If an NPC archer has taken 10 damage in one shot (after Void) or has taken damage twice (likely the case unless she misses or you Void one or more to zero) they bow out.
Repeat as necessary until you bow out or get dropped.
