Claudia noticed, once she has time to regain consciousness and reflect, that the ghul was already wounded before it attacked her... as were the others she had seen. Although they were more than happy to rampage on the surface perhaps they were also fleeing from something beneath....

(Claudia can access The Hungry City 2 and gains one free raise to spend within it if she joins)
