Raya's nerves hold still as the Ra'Shari begins to circle to the left, hoping the shadows still keep her from the eyes of foes.

Faruq moves forward to hopefully support his comrades though keeps away from the water's edge.

Nihira senses movement in the water that other's don't quite catch except one strangely perceptive gorilla. Blacker than black eyes piercing murk and shadow.

(Crocoghul moves)

For a moment a hidden foe's heart nearly catches as he almost notices the unnatural nature of Jadzia but, clearly, it must just be another gorilla.

Unlike the stealthy croc everyone notices as the water on their left churns and swirls as if something were moving deep beneath the surface. Eventually the presence surfaces and makes itself known. The necromancer is a short... they assume man, though it is hard to tell when mostly submerged and caked in filth... and only the dark prayers, chanted in Senpet, would reveal his origin. Those foul prayers coalesce as black ichor sprays from his outstretched hand striking true against Claudia's ancestor... or it would were the spirit not a proud Yodotai blessed by Conquest.

The black spray seems to warp around the spectral figure though thankfully does not strike anyone else. The necromancer seems baffled as he lets out a long string of curses in Senpet.

Asher pursues Jadzia for a moment despite his fear trying to hiss a command from the shadows. It seems to be to no effect as a furred palm, not so gently, pushes him back from the water's edge in a surprisingly intelligent gesture.

Unheeding of her supposed master there is but a brief pause as she launches herself easily over the water and lands on top of the edge of the large table - seemingly oblivious to the corpse of what was once her kind. Her black eyes tracking the three threats two of which would soon be in striking range.

(Ghosting Nihira)

The grime-soaked Ra'Shari clambers back up onto dry land. As worried as she is about the proximity of the jackal-thing the table between them made it a very difficult target. Whirling her sling she instead takes aim at the greater threat to the city... if maybe not to her herself.

[OOC: Skipping Faruq with GM permission, he can go after Qara and Wind Dude]

Qara saw her target...well, there were multiple. Still, she poured her energies into the necromancer speaking the strange tongue, as rocks flew towards him with deadly intent.

Afterwards, se climbed out of the pungent waters of the sewer.

Meanwhile, her Jinn followed her, but not before blessing the ghostly warrior.

The necromancer growls in pain as the stones impact him. (Reduction 1, 24 wounds)

The monstrosity that was once a jackal vaults over the table trying to strike Nihira. Revenge for its master? Or was she just the closest meat? In any case the momentum of its leap allows her to sidestep at the last moment.

(Free action move - moderate terrain but Swift means still more than enough.

So there were monsters fighting monsters, mages throwing spells at mages, apparently a few invisible things going around according to contextual clues (unless droplets of sewer water flew on their own due to one of the aforementioned spells), acrobats surprisingly competent at fighting, actual fighters clad in metal... And then him, al-Haddar, that was wondering what he was doing there.

As for now, he courageously ran and jumped away from the wall that was protecting his back toward behind the cover of the tables.

Claudia's intention to get out of the sewage was stymied by the snarling monstrosity now overhead even if its attention was currently elsewhere. With nothing better to do she swung her blade at its legs but the awkward angle meant the blow never even came close.
