[Day 2 EN] The Hungry City: Attack - Qara

[Qara al-Hazaad]

Qara readied herself to defend er new home, talismans glinting in the moonlight. She drew one with a srange script on it, reading 'Rocks fall everybody dies'. A bit morbid, but ideally accurate.

Her Jinn bodyguard hovered around her with an ever present scowl.

Under relentless force the door finally gives though, with quick action from the district guards, only one of the foul beasts manages to slip through to threaten Qara.

Though it wears no clothing the rot and decay has rendered the monstrosity unclear in whatever nationality, nor gender, it might once have been.

The strange floaty thing was an afterthought as the ghul fixated on the one bringing harm to it... and smelling oh so delicious.

It pounces upon the shugenja its claws biting deep into her arms though the Jinn manages to act swiftly enough to pull its head back before it can drive its rotting teeth through her flesh as well

Though it was cleaved in twain by the falling rocks the monster, still entangled with the woman, continues its assault with claws and teeth both tearing madly at flesh.

If it was to cease to exist it would go with a full stomach...

...well it would if its stomach wasn't currently spewing gobbets of ex-Unicorn flesh on the floor behind it.
