A light rain, possibly the last of the winter rains, falls upon the city throughout the day. Thankfully it is temperate enough not to drown one in humidity during the day nor chill the skin too much at night. Despite the dampness the city is abuzz with activity as it prepares for the upcoming festival.

Hawkers compete to sell of that which might perish over the next few days anticipating the impacts of those who fast while the pious take advantage of those deals to craft one last, great, feast to herald the coming of the dawn with their families.
