Sponsoring NPC Archers

For those who want to partake in the archery aspect of the festival but do not have martial skills of their own it is possible to use your resources to sponsor an NPC archer in your stead.

Gain a number of Sponsorship points equal to: City Influence + Glory + Advantages - Infamy - Disadvantages

Applicable Advantages: Ally (1pt per ally or 1pt per ally influence but that is the ally's aid for this game), Darling of the Court (1pt), Gentry (1pt per rank), Lucky (1pt per rank), Wealth (1pt per rank), Well Connected (1pt per rank)

Applicable Disadvantages: Debt (-1pt), Greedy (-1pt), Bishamon's Curse (-1pt), Unlucky (-1pt per rank)

You may buy additional sponsorship points with copper on an increasing scale:
1-3 points - 1 copper each
4-6 points - 2 copper each
7-10 points - 3 copper each

(Remember that there is not a stipend refresh between games unless there is a significant time jump - spend copper wisely)

The archer starts at 2 in all traits, 1 in Archery, and with no applicable Technique
1 sponsorship point per rank of Archery and per rank of Horsemanship until rank 3
2 sponsorship points per additional rank until rank 5
3 sponsorship points to increase Reflexes or Agility to 3
6 additional sponsorship points to increase Reflexes or Agility to 4
4 sponsorship points to increase Void to 3

You may roll for your sponsored archer in the events if you wish.

If your archer wins any material rewards you gain that benefit.

If your archer wins any reputation rewards you gain half the reputation rounded up.
