What the public know:

Few in Medinaat al-Salaam not of the Ivory Kingdoms are aware of the cult and those who do often assume they are a foreign threat far removed from the Sands. It is known they worship some vicious and dark destroyer god and few look kindly on the idea of them. Some scholars, however, are aware that the cult has been known to strike even in far flung kingdoms to show the futility in resisting destruction and that they will likely arrive in pursuit of their ancient enemies in the Order of the Ebon Hand... if they're not here already.

What the Cult of Rhumal know:

The cult is here. The cult is everywhere. No kingdom known is beyond their grasp and their members lurk everywhere. Even now their assassins move against the Mantis in Rokugan, hide among the Senpet, and have fully subverted a noble house of the Invinda. Before Shiva can rebirth the new world the old must be destroyed and the cult will be the hands on the millwheel that grinds the old world to dust in honor and glory to their god.

All must know the power and terror of Shiva and must understand that her reach is infinite. No one, regardless of station or distance, is immune to her power. Resistance to destruction, and the rebirth to come, is futile and the cult will be sure to demonstrate that to all.

Among these goals is the liberation of the Ebon Stone, and the servant within, from the accursed Ebonites. First they must learn where near Medinaat al-Salaam it has been hidden then amass a force to finally crush their foes once and for all and destroy the Stone.
