That got a laugh.

"Better than I, certainly! Not that that's terribly high praise- they're not at the top of the standings, as I understand it, but they're doing well."

She winked.

"This is why I didn't offer my services as archer, you know."

[Asher]

"You were afraid of taking my money and embarrassing me? That doesn't sound very Rashari of you..."

[Kezia]

"You can't tell me you wouldn't have auditioned me before paying now, would you?"

[Asher]

He chuckles softly, "I guess actually watching my person use a bow before hiring then would have been a smart move, I'll have to try that next time"

[Kezia]

"Wait, you just... Wow. A trusting Dahabi."

She shook her head, and chuckled

"There truly are wonders in this city."

[Asher]

"I guess it depends on the value you have to lose as to how trusting you can be. Sometimes it is more important to be seen participating then to actual win at a game. I have been very busy of late and had not realized till the last moment how important this festival was to certain parties. As such I was desperate, and a desperate man can not afford to be too choosey."

[Kezia]

"Hm, well, you've still fared better, I think, than you would have if you'd hired my services... your friend there could probably do a better job."

[Asher]

He glances back at Jadzia and chuckles, "I do not believe the Kadi would be very amused if I acted that flippantly toward her tournament, and I have yet to find a bow that Jadzia will not eat"

[Kezia]

"Well, if I ever find something, I'll hang onto it for you, just in case..."

[Asher]

"Actually finding anything interesting you should bring it to my attention, I mostly deal in oddities and antiques"
