Merasanhk sat on a table to make a reading. She just played with the deck as she took out some cards, 5 of cups reversed, Knight of Swords right side, King of wands right side. "Most interesting...I wonder... I guess I already did."

Personal curiosity became professional as Kezia drifted closer to see if she could make sense of the other woman's card-reading.

Kezia didn't read cards when she tried her own divinations, but she was familiar with the practice.

"Seems my lead was right." She felt the presence of someone and looked up. "Ah... Sayeda... Good evening." Meresanhk greeted the woman. "I hope you are well."

"Your pardon, Sayedda, I did not mean to intrude... call it a professional interest."

Meresanhk offered the woman a seat with a hand gesture. "No worries. I have finished my reading." She smiled. "An interest of yours and many. I am Meresanhk."

"I am Kezia. Some of our diviners use cards, some stars, some coins... I'm always interested to see how others do it."

"Ah... some in the Senpet read the sand." She explained. "I prefer the cards... they have a nice feel." Meresanhk nodded.

"I've found that while methods vary, results seldom do."

"The gods always show the truth to those who seek it." She nodded sagely. "Have you tried a read?"

"Oh, several!"

Kezia laughed.

"It's part of the job, after all. Not always demand for song or dance, so we all... diversify. Although I admit, my preferred method is a bit more internal in character."
