[Ali ibn Farid]

Ali managed to somehow both wince and smile at the same time. "Actually... that's pretty good. You got free. Maybe I'd be too surprised to grab you again, and you could scramble away. You just have to work on the landing."

He knelt down next to her, still smiling. "You okay, princess?" He asked. "Not too sore, I hope?"

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Fortunately I have a lot of cushion back there..."

Speaking up more fully, "I'll be fine. It was more a shock than anything else."

Soraya stood up easily enough, "I suppose I'll need to count on that fact then, startling my kidnapper that is. I suppose the follow up to all this would be getting away though; I'm no sprinter, unfortunately."

[Ali ibn Farid]

Ali smirked. "A very pleasant amount, princess."

He rose to his feet with her. "Hopefully, you won't have to get very far. A quick run to the street, and there'll be enough bystanders to scare off attackers. All it takes are a few seconds."

Ali smiled. "If you'd like to try that same one again, there's something a bit different you can try. It's harder, but I think you'd like it, if you can pull it off."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Is it less likely to have me losing my balance? Even if it's a bit more difficult, if it has less twisting, then I might be able to get away a bit quicker."

[Ali ibn Farid]

"Less twisting." Ali nodded. "It might put you on the ground, but it puts me on the ground, too. And in a worse position."

He flashed her a grin. "So, if you ever wanted toss a taller guy like me around, this is your chance."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"I most certainly would."

Soraya nods firmly, making grabby motions.

"Where do I start?"

Ali laughed, openly and honestly. "You know, I rather expected that. Okay, same as before."

He circled around, encircling with his arms once more, hands warm against her midriff. "Now, you push back against me, just the same as before. But this time, grab onto my arm, and just... drop. Drop into a crouch as fast as you can."

Ali took a deep breath, stirring her hair. "Okay. When you're ready." She would feel him tense and relax; after all, if she did it right, it was going to involve him flipping onto his back this time.

"Ya!"

Sora followed the instructions precisely, the thing working like a charm!

As Soraya dropped, Ali was drawn forward. With his balance shifted, there was nothing for him to do but tip over her. He tumbled over her, flopping down on his back on the mat in front of her.

"Ufff..." He grunted. Grinning, he looked up at her. "Nicely done, Soraya. Nicely done, indeed."

Sitting up a bit, it was Ali's turn to rub his posterior. "Oof, maybe I need to get a bit more cloth for this." He said, wincing.

Sora grinned as she crawled up to him, face level with his after he sat up, "I liked that! You say that it's normally more difficult than the twisting maneuver though?"
