That was truly strange. Maybe he had been swindled by the merchants, after all...

He stood up and tried overturning the bucket o to see if he could still salvage anything. Probably a lost cause, but maybe.

If that failed, well, he'd have some things to clean, then maybe he could a least still offer some treatment...

As he did that, though, he stopped for a moment. Had the wretch actually done anything that might have... attracted the insets, somehow?

The thought did worry him a bit. He had great respect for Shillah and for Mekhem's lessons, after all. But he wouldn't be one to hold back from at least trying to offer help due to these stories.

Sadly giving up on the tainted food for now, setting it aside to be discarded later, he sat down again. He still could at least offer some treatment...
