Cats can swim (LA: River quarter)

Yesterday had been ectic and this morning frantic...the city is ever far from dull. Still, he might have some free time ahead of him: the rush hour had finally passed at The Cat's Tail and likely would only pick up again after the archery event.

That meant he could train a bit. He needed to be well rounded if he hoped to fulfill his unspoken obligations successfully...he had to be ready.

In a secluded place along the river he removed most of his garments and hid them in nearby bushes.

What better way to build stamina then swimming? It keeps you cool too!

Taking a deep breath, he plunged into the waters ready for a few strokes

As she continued to explore around the city, Meresanhk wandered around the river. She sat down by the shore and took off her sandals. The young lady dipped her feet in the river to refresh herself. She had not noted the man swimming in the water she just thought about her long trip.

Alternate sides, breathe

Swimming against the river's current was one hell of an exercise...no matter the effort he barely could advance. Pic...Staying in place was almost a triumph.

Bazir fougth on...until he was finally out of breath and heading to the shore for a pause

Meresanhk smile as the water refreshed her toes and cleaned them. Then she noted the splashing coming to the shore for a second she froze thinking that a crocodrile was going to attack her. The woman shook off her slight fear when she saw that it was a man swimming in the river. "Salam..." Then Meresanhk thought He probably can't hear me with the rockus of the water.

Bazir was now in waters shallow enough to allow him to stand with his chest, shoulders and head fully out of the water when he hear the greeting from the shore.

''Ah, salam to you as well sayyeda. Pleasant afternoon is it not?''

The still disguised princess made her way back down to the river, having found some festival food like she'd had yesterday and taking it with her to find a spot overlooking the river. Having done so, she found a nice cool stone and sat on it, spreading the candied fruits and falafel.

Bazir was now in waters shallow enough to allow him to stand with his chest, shoulders and head fully out of the water when he hear the greeting from the shore.

''Ah, salam to you as well sayyeda. Pleasant afternoon is it not?''

Meresanhk smiled. "Yes, quite pleasant and refreshing." Her eyes fixated on the torso of the man. She examined his physique. Her reverie was broken by the arrival of the lady that seem prepared a picnic. "I hope there are no crocodile in these waters."

Bazir chuckled, either not noticing the revery or polite enough to not mention it

''So do I'' he began ''But they do not venture this near to the port...they know to keep away from man lest they become novelty slippers for the wealthy''

The woman chuckled. "or bags..." She looked at the other woman who probably would be waiting for someone to share the candies and food. "Do you know who is that?"

Bazir turned around to find out who the senpet lady was talking about then finally noticed the other women further up.

''No sayyeda, never seen her before'' he replied returning his attention to her ''Is something the matter?''
