The brigand holding the Dahabi curses through blood flecked teeth as she shoves her towards the Ra'shari.

Dragging herself to her feet she begins to try and limp away.

(Simple action break grapple, simple action stand, free action move)

Up, and hearing the clash from within, the other uninjured thug takes off running down the alley in the opposite direction of their comrade.

Joab considers giving chase but the safety of the al-Menjari had to come first.

Surprisingly, given his luck so far, the large man deftly drops down. Seeing the blood covered Soraya, and not having been present to witness whose blood it was, he moved to stand over her in a guard position.

Soraya was safe, that much seemed to be ensured, but the detective in Aydi wanted answers, so he lunged after the fleeing assailant with the intent to overpower her. "I want answers!"

Kezia pauses, ready to strike if necessary, but if Aydi wanted her alive she didn't need blood quite that badly. She could at least rest easy that her blade had drank deep already.

The figure on the ground grits her teeth and whispers softly, "Sorry mother. But I can at least protect my siblings..." before plunging her knife into her throat.

Soraya snifles and holds out a hand that Raya uses to help her up, the princess' other arm held across her chest.

"No. I... am fine I think."

She looks around at her four rescuers, "...are you all okay?"

The sneak's last words bounced around in Sora's head, something about them bugging her stress fogged mind.

"The most important thing is that you're okay, Sayyeda!"

Aydi sighed, straightening. These were not ordinary thugs. A minority was ever willing to kill themselves to avoid capture. And the uttered words indicated some family business, perhaps a clan structure behind it. He checked on Soraya with a glance. Seeing her protected, he turned toward the dead body and pulled the mask off to see the face. He didn't have much hope for finding anything indicative on the dead woman, but he wouldn't walk away without trying. Whoever this people were, they could try again.

"We are ok! All according to plan" Raya grinned, looking at the woman who was covering herself up and slipped out of her plain robe, offering it to the woman. "If you need it you can use this."

Under her robe was her usual colourful attire - bright red dancing clothes.
