[Day 1, EM River] Preparations of the Haffit

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Oh! So you..."

She stood gracefully and gave a little curtsy.

"This one is Sada-al-Menjari. I suppose one does need a lot of water on the hot days here in the City. The river really provides for so many by itself?"

[Sada-al-Haffit]

"It very well can, but we also have wells in other parts of the city just in case. However, they rarely have such a nice view and you can't have so many people take water all at once."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

Soraya put her hands on her hips and looked back to the river, strawberry red lips curling up a bit into a smile, "It really is quite the view, isn't it? It is like the world's most wonderful fountain, teeming with people in and around it."

[Sada-al-Haffit]

"Its amazing to think that there's even more teeming underneath the water."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Oh, right, you did mention fishing. Is anyone allowed to fish in the river then?"

[Sada-al-Haffit]

"There aren't any rules against it yet, just don't use it as an excuse to take water without paying and you should be fine. "

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Ah... so the fish are not regulated, but the water is. Such an interesting idea. Do you work down here at the river often then, miss?"

[Sada-al-Haffit]

"I don't come down here as much as some of my employees, I am usually of more use to my family handling the numbers."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Oh, so writing and mathematics? Do you enjoy that kind of thing?"

Soraya seemed genuinely curious, both in Sada and her work.

[Sada-al-Haffit]

"Indeed, math never lies and writing ensures that your thoughts can be freely shared."
