[Asher]

He chuckles softly,

No I am looking to hire archers, for the tournament

[Kezia]

Kezia cocked her head to the side.

A fool and his money seldom have a gorilla on hand to rip people limb from limb.

"I could ask around. We've got a couple who try their hand at it. But surely if you're looking to hire, there must be some local talent?"

[Asher]

I've been looking but most of it has already been hired, that is what I get waiting till the last minute I guess.

[Kezia]

"Well, as I said, i can ask around. Where might a prospective archer find you?"

[Asher]

He waves down the street


About half a block that way is a shop called Asher's Antiquities, prospective champions can ask for me there. I'll be interviewing this afternoon.

[Kezia]

Kezia nodded.

"Asher's Antiquities. Hopefully we can find someone to suit you..."

She cocked her head to the side.

"I assume payment is tied to results?"

[Asher]

He tosses her a pool,



That's for asking around, with more if you can send me a viable candidate.

[Kezia]

The coin went into one of her pockets in an almost reflexive motion.

"As I said, I will ask around."

A pause.

"Do you happen to know who they might be shooting against?"

[Asher]

He shakes his head,

This city is not known for it's great archers, mostly city guards and some caravan mercenaries. Most houses are keeping their champions close to their chests, to making the betting and competition more interesting. I believe though it will mostly be talented amateurs.

[Kezia]

And never a Moto when you need one...

"For what it's worth, that increases the odds that some of my kin will at least come by for an interview... no one likes being hired as a formality, after all..."
