How Bazaar! (EE, Thoroughfare)

[Ali ibn Farid]

Ali let out a slow breath. "That sounds very nice indeed." Every aspect of it; Ali did like animals, after all.

He pursed his lips thoughtfully a moment. "And perhaps you could visit my house sometime? I don't have any pets, nor many outfits to get your opinion on. But I think I would like to show it to you, nevertheless."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Oh I would ~love~ to see your house! I did say I would like to see more houses and such earlier today, and I really do mean it. Though I'd not want to intrude on peoples' privacy. So I would consider it an opportunity even."

[Ali ibn Farid]

Ali grinned. "Well then. Would you like to meet tomorrow, perhaps? If you'd like to see it, well, it would be my pleasure to show it to you."

He inclined his head. "And then, perhaps another day, you could show me yours. And your pets, too."

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Absolutely."

A softened smile on her face now, Sora uncrossed her legs and hung them over the edge of the barrel, having finished the food, "Well, for now, I think I should get going. I have plans for later in the evening, and I'd like to go wash up a bit before then."

[Ali ibn Farid]

Ali slipped easily from his barrel. "Of course, miss. And I should be on my way as well. I've got a patrol to walk, with a friend."

Solicitously, he offered his arm to help her down from the barrel. "If you like, I'll walk you to your destination. Or halfway, at least. My last act as guide this evening." Again, Ali flashed a smile at her; with her charming manner, he found it easy to do so. The looks didn't hurt either.

[Soraya al-Menjari]

"Ah. Well, I'll be heading to the city gates to the south, so I would appreciate the company, for part of the way."

She took the offered arm and hopped off the barrel gracefully, apparently being light on her feet at the very least.

Smiling, Ali did just as he said he would. What a strange, fun, evening.
