[Qara al-Hazaad]

Qara stood before the ruins of the famed university of the Qabal. She shivered, and it wasn't for the cold.

Such a destructive demolition. There was knowledge in there, rare, precious, and...ruined.

She almost cried. She had to go see, if she could find anything.

At this time in the evening guard patrols are rare so she has an unobstructed view of the rubble. After centuries in ruins there is little but stone and rotting wood on display.

Qara pulled on a talismand, took a breath, and started to sink into the ground, hopefully no one will see her.

With the rubble containing all sorts of non-earthen debris mixed within it travel is hard even with the aid of magic. It feels like she loses track of time navigating her way through but finds nothing but garbage and destruction until she reaches an opening below... the sewers.

Qara hesitated for a second, before trying to open the entrance to the sewers.
