Re: A Fest of Arrows OOC

Yeah, if Q&A commentary didn't make it obvious, Lamis is an Assassin, though she has, in fact, been earning her way with the Nomads for a time. Partly because I already had the research in my head from my previous Nomad character to drop onto a last minute one for here. Not commenting on other possi...

Re: Questions by moonlight (LE, The Desert)

"I'm not sure I understand all the implications of the.... economics involved, Sadiqa", he says still with a grin, his voice in a much lighter tone than his usual - which suggests no hurt feelings or anything of the kind. "I do understand the place among the Naaji is not guaranteed. Although if tha...

Re: A Friend Indeed [D4 LA, Mekham District, expecting]

"I imagine it didn't look so bad, growing up. Kids don't see the same things. But for me? Yes, it's too much to see and take in all at once. No sightlines, no real quiet." She frowns. "And more water than I've seen in my life," she says with a vague wave toward the river. "And instead of everyone ha...

Re: Ideal Case! [Aydi al-Qais' Q&A]

Meant to note, the dog/boy with the same name/confused dad setup had the potential to just be disturbingly sad in a parents slipping into dementia way. Instead it walked this tragicomic/mystery edge that worked well.

Re: A Friend Indeed [D4 LA, Mekham District, expecting]

She listens, keeping a hand on Ali's arm as they go to feel any shifts that need to be addressed. "After today, I'm not sure I'd say it's much beneath the surface." Her eyes remain vigilant as they walk, glancing at doorways and alleys and most passers-by. "Too many people crunched in together here....

Re: Questions by moonlight (LE, The Desert)

She nods, the edges of her headscarf shifting loose in the dry breeze, lips curling into a modest smile. "A few loose ends...hmm. Well If you're coming, I'd need to take a few days finding a decent horse to spend some of these winnings on. So I guess I might linger a few days..." She'd nodded at men...

Re: A Friend Indeed [D4 LA, Mekham District, expecting]

"If he does...well, not much he can do about it, hmm?" She takes a moment after they've gotten him settled. Bits of rope and leather than normally keep gear attached offer makeshift ways to keep the unconscious man from slipping. And the'll still have to adjust often on the way. She uses the fact th...

Re: Blood on the wrong side (Arash)

Void three was my somewhat unexpected Ace here. Not because I did not expect it to be very helpful, but because I expected more contestants to have prioritized those points. Good getting to play with you a bit before impending RL swooped in. Was Arash interesting enough to play that you'd bring him ...

Loved watching you run with that bit of plot. Somewhat sorry to cheat you out of some prime haggling, I just knew our times for posting have a very wee bit of crossover and I was heading into the workweek...Greatly enjoyed the conversation there. Also, for not knowing the LBS setting, you were great...

Re: End of Game Feedback and Q&A

A nitpick for the road: The description of the different locations probably don't need to be split into that many subforums. One thread per quarter, with one post per location, would probably have worked as well and be easier to navigate. Or, given that those forums are not used for posting in othe...
