If the Dahabi describe the Thoroughfare as the artery of the city they would likely describe Peddlers' Row as the intestine... if they deigned mention it at all... which most would not.
A series of alleys among the many twisting and turning paths of The Maze Peddler's Row is where those who do not have the blessing of the Dahabi go to set up their trade. Most merchants here are Ra'Shari who were pushed out of the Thoroughfare, criminals, or those desperately selling their few meager belongings for enough coin for the day's meal and water.
That said there are still deals and treasures to be found, if often stolen ones, if one looks hard enough.
